Afternoon tour of Capitol Hill, Texas. Seat of Texas houses of Representatives and Senate – a mini version of the one in Washington DC!

The annual MS150 cycle ride is finishing this weekend – an organised 100 mile sponsored cycle ride over two days from Houston to Austin, raising awareness and money forย Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patients and families. Austin is a bike ‘friendly’ city in Texas (arguably the only one) but with an influx of 13,000 the centre is chaos!

Muggy day, storm and rain haven’t arrived yet, I could get stitched up tomorrow as I continue west.

Expenditure $30.77

Email me if you are staying in Fredericksburg, TX. tomorrow. I will try to make contact with someone in that area. But if you are going further to one of the other locations let me know. I will be glad to help.

  2. Hello, my route is Fredericksburg, Junction, Sonora, Ozona and Fort Stockton ๐Ÿ™‚ I think there may be First Baptist Churches in each!? Free camping perhaps ๐Ÿ™‚

You will be hearing from the church secretary at 1st Bapt. Church in Fredericksburg, TX. They will let you stay in the church. They have a shower there too. Hope the bad weather has lighten up and you have safe travels. Will email you also.
