Thank you First Baptist Church For Stockton for putting up with me for 48 hours and feeding/accommodating me!
Storm has passed overnight, masses of rain, thunder and lightening. Struggled to find a decent cup of coffee this morning so opted for a Starbucks bottle of iced latte, made with a double shot of espresso 🙂
First Baptist Church want me to talk to congregation and youth about my cycle ride this morning as part of their Easter service.
Large lunch and great conversation with youth group. Some express a real passion for overseas missional work which is pretty inspirational to me.
Relaxing afternoon in motel room with air conditioning on… Legs getting a well deserved rest. Route planning and looking for possible accommodation options between here and El Paso for the coming week.
Evening meal and discussed church setting up a school in the building. Bouncing ideas around, staff, tuition, student base, facilities, etc.
